FOR SALE
Underwood Olivetti Studio 44.
The name Underwood and Olivetti came together because Olivetti in 1952 bought Underwood. This model is also from the same year. It's one of the double-named portable typewriter. It's a heavy duty kind of typewriter, like my Celestina down below. Anyway easier to move around than Celestina.
The slogan used to say back in the day..."Condition is pristine, and comes with the original case."
Checked and cleaned.
Contact for purchase or further information, world wide shipping.

Olivetti Lettera 33 or Olivetti DL (De luxe)
I’ve checked online about the serial number and the chronology. Around the 70's. Very good conditions, come with the silver and black original case. The case is showing signs of the wearing of time.
I used for some time this typewriter. Also because I kept he for five years before I could sell this Olivetti to some typewriter lover. It's not a rare typewriter and he shares the same “hearth” of the Valentine. But I enjoyed writing with this DL as well. I have some nice memories. Especially because was one of my first purchase about typewriters and I used this Olivetti also in my first atelier in Japan, before sharing this “type” with the world.
Restored and cleaned and now SOLD!

Choco Mint
Originally called Hermes Baby. Circa 1957.
When I firstly saw this beautiful portable machine, WAS LOVE AT FISRT SIGHT. Period. But is when I could put my eyes on this Baby, I had a feeling that something needed to be improved. I am talking about the mat below the caps. So I had the idea of taking out the old, dark, grey, very pessimistic mat. The one underneath the caps and after almost three years of thinking, while using this beauty, I decided to add a chocolate brown colored mat. Why? Because my vision was and still like those candies from the late ‘80s first ‘90s, mixing mint and chocolate. Infact her new name is "Choco Mint".
It's lovely to write with, it’s lovely to play with her anyway. The sound, the design and caps are definitely more comfortable to my fingers than her older edition, my Starship (Yes I have also an Hermes Rocket)
But both are super portable, very neat and very very well designed typewriters.
Checked and cleaned.
NEVER say NEVER but NEVER for sale.

Celestina
She is Celestina. The second typewriter I bought in 2020. An insuperable machinery. Heavy weight, she is indestructible and wonderful also on the inside. I love the touch and the sound that my "Celestina" makes when used. It is definitely a non portable, usually, but in case of emergency she can be of a great help. Especially in tactical circumstances, when you need her for self defense purposes. You can paint her in a cool black matte like all those useless but cools tactical tools and trow to the first person, or bunch of persons that perhaps pissed you off for some unknown reason, or even zombies, or well, I will leave the rest to you…for me and for now I love to expresso some thoughts with her.
Underwood Touch Master II around 1952, from the U.S. but not really, because Olivetti already bought the Underwood company in those years. For some models I guess, they still keep the original name "Underwood" instead of Olivetti, maybe for a while.
I got closer to Underwood's in particular thanks to Sean Connery, the way he was typing and writing, and the shape of his hand on the Touch Master Five, just love it. The movie is Finding Forrester, and its a movie but not only, to me its a beauty for all senses.
The typewriter is not the same model (I think I will also buy the tTouch Master Five as well in time).
But I love that movie so much, that I bought a similar typewriter.

Pantera
Royal Quiet De Luxe around 1948. "Pantera" (Panther) and she is a New Yorker. I use my Pantera a lot, because I like the compact design. But I also like her font. I feel her lines and suits me, still don’t really know why. Maybe the curvy edges, instead of straight, maybe the compactness in the whole mass, who knows and I love to keep it that way. I just enjoy her company very much, and I always have been attracted to panthers anyway.

Valentina
Around 1968. Made in Barcelona, Spain. My first typewriter ever! (I mean she is the first that I bought myself). To me she is Valentina and she is just gorgeous. How can’t you fail to notice a lady in red, right? Originally I bought Valentina as a re-sale purposes. But she captured my heart. And now she is part of the family. I wrote many things with her, and I am still doing it with pleasure!
Her sound, her smell reminds me of an Italian office in the 70.
The font is bigger than the second Valentine (older edition). but I still love it.

Lettera 32
This one also around the 70's.
BUT Made in Ivrea, Italy!
Finally! Smooth tiptoes like the typing sound. I love to take her out and during a picnic. When I first bought this Lettera she was covered with a lot of mold and dried grass inside! It's like it has been used during picnics even before. That fact surely influenced me in regards to taking her out for spin!

L'Antica
Directly from the 30's. It's the oldest I have up to now. First time I saw this antique machinery in person, the first thing that came to my mind was, gosh this machine saw the ‘beginning of the 900s! The K keytop is missing a small pivot. So the "k" is not working yet, but I write in Italian instead of English and that is no problem for me (we don’t have Ks!). And I'd like like to keep her as it is, maybe in time I will add that k missing part but for now is great as she is! Old grandma!
About my Sterling I also like the rounded shaped keytops, the odor and the inside structure. On the other hand the color is awful but I will keep it (for now). Because it is the "original" and because the labels are on top of "that" color, so no can do (for now). Maybe in a Victorian wooden house between brown, green and other velvet colors it might get more interesting to look at, but until now I guess I have to manage as she is...
All of my typewriters have some "merit" that I like to keep, because I love to think that is part of who they are. This is perfection for me.
PS the interior smells like the lounge of one of my grandmother's oldest friend house.

La Silenziosa
A model from the 50s made in U.S.A.
I love her rounded body so much, its like those cars from America straight from the 40s and 50's. Those cars are so big, long and rounded…and bumpy.
Or those kitchen products from the same period.
I don't know how to describe what I feel, maybe in the future, after I have been to America I am more able to increase my vocabulary in a way that I can express more.
Wonderful assembly and compact mechanics inside, meticulously designed with a lot of functions, I love the green keytops with a delicate light green inside for the letters. Great feeling when writing. The keys have a super smooth system when typing. I thought was super silent but she is not that silent at all! (did ever occur to you to just check and perhaps change the very old and very hard rubber platen…? Yes but no I like her as she is, thank you)
Oh and dear Tom, didn’t you say that is also your favorite typewriter right?
See?? We have so many things in common. We can be pen pal friends.

Starship - Work in progress
Hermes Rocket 1950. Made in Switzerland, distributed in America by New York. The design it's a work in progress. But basically I am transforming the ex Hermes Rocket in a Space shuttle or better more advanced, in a Starship. Inspired by Nasa, Spacex for the colors and the name "Rocket".
I preferred the name "space-ship" because she is capable to bring you into the unknown, into space, in other realms and dimensions. Inside and outside yourself, just like writing. Just like my writings.
The funny part is that I accidentally melted some keys, but I managed to restore them after the disaster. I repainted the main body using titanium white, and the base as charcoal black, I left the original dark grey color and logos in the rear side. All like the Spacex Starship design, when they are going to be completed once it for all, maybe...
Restored and cleaned.

F-ord Cobra
A model from the classic Hot-Weels. 2005. I find this car in one of my favorite toy shop in my town, among with other models. I customized myself more than twenty years ago. Its one of my favorite cars models the "Cobra" Shelby...and I take this model where ever I go. I still don't know why. But it's not important.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
L as Luca...
This "toy" it wasn't my favorite when I was a kid. Was one of my best friend's favorite. My favorite about the Ninja Turtles is the album with the stickers from my childhood. And I actually love all characters. All four. Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raffaello and Donatello. Now I bought this one (Leonardo) just few years ago because those I had have been unfortunately trowed away. And the fact to have them again, even if they are not "those I had" is still very important to me.
It's the completion of one of my dreams since far in time and now from my bucket list.
Go Ninja go!

SESONIK Studio Auto 2 L-488 Light Meter
Now the game is on!
I found this great but rare light Meter in a shop online (Rare doesn't mean expensive). Before my purchase I had to look for the characteristics that this model has. It can measure both types of light: reflective and incident. I was looking for a great but simple light meter for years. Years! I guess now is the right time because I finally got one.
Using the camera to express myself, collaborating with the elements. Light in particular. Light is always an element that I love, among with composition, the character of colors and harmony. With a-camera I am talking a specific language. Especially with a digital camera. But with this light meter at hand, I can translate what the light is telling me in a better form. I am so glad that I allowed myself to have this light meter! Thank you universe!

CANON CANONET - New design
I finally developed my four films (black & white and color) That I used on 2021 to test some cameras, this one included. Considering that I didn't use a light-meter the result is pretty interesting! So now that I fixed them and test them I know they are usable. I decided then to upgrade my “favorita”, this Canonet.
Just yesterday night 10th of December 2023 around 2 am. I took my Poscas and I expressed my love for this camera. Colorful even for black and white. I want my photography to continue being colorful. I was inspired by that and by the range of colors I have and I love my result!

Citizen Windsurfing D120
This story talks about a watch I really love and its period.
I was around 8 years old. My father bought me a version of this watch as a present (this is the common one, I had a pretty rare one). In those years at least my town was crossing the “Californiana-rush” as I call it. Just after the mighty ‘80s. It was the time of Postmodernism, Memphis design, Miami Vice, Baywatch, Maui and Sons, light pink and turquoise colors, surf and big rubber watches and I really love and miss those days!
And I still remember the day my father bought my watch. We went near the port, close to the shipyard. The Windsurf was sold in a boat shop with some accessories for modern sailors as well. My watch was there waiting for me. I remember it was expensive at that time too. My father bought me this instrument of time but he didn't give it to me straight away. He said: "I will give it to you on that day only." I thought that it was for my birthday or something. Anyway I waited as told . Every-single week on Friday I was going to my grandmother's house. And my watch was there, in its blue squared case. I remember I was allowed to look at it but couldn’t wear it, because my father was pretty straight about it…I like to think, that he tried to teach me some sort of life lesson, maybe by making me wait as told. Perhaps the lesson was about learning to listen and respect a deal. Still don’t know why he was like that sometime, but at that time, I considered him a bit of an A-S, but what can you do about it, it’s in the past. Now instead, in our present, we are growing together, learning from each other, because Family is always First for me.
That been said I always loved that watch. And I travelled the world with it, until a guy I knew and was from Germany, stole it from me. (nothing to do with the nationality). But nothing I could do at that time.
Since more than ten years I craved to posses it again. Around on the internet, I also asked to the maker, from different countries. with the internet of more than 10 years ago was very difficult to find it, and about the maker, all failed to help me out even in trying to find a similar model!
Finally once these similar models start to manifest themselves on the internet, I made my mind to buy a new (used) one, and the watch was there waiting for me. So all i had to do was just look imagine and wait for the best bargain I could. Finally again! I was able to find what I was looking for! Of course for me it's not the same, but I couldn't resist anymore. The Windsurfing D120 you see here is the one I bought from a kind gentleman from Rome as a present to myself, At a great price and in great conditions!
I also find few photos of the exact rare but sold already model I actually want. But I am still looking to find my real watch. And I know that when the time is right I will have it with me for the rest of my days at the down of my very long and great existence.

Pizza note
One day my wife ordered a pair of shoes from the internet. As usual I reused or recycled the box and the paper in it. When I opened the box I find a nice grey colored recycled soft and light paper. I think less than 60 mg/cm2 or something. Very thin.
In that period I was working in making some artists books and artists sketchbooks. And when I saw that paper, I saw opportunity!
So I connected the synapses and visualized right away. Actually the idea connected when I saw the frozen pizza box from the paper bin and I heard the voice from within saying: “this is gonna be the cover". And I obliged by start cutting it into the design and format I liked.
I folded the paper from the shoes box, cutting, making pages. I choose a "tomato red" colored acrylic string from our sewing tools box and start attaching those pages with paperback binding technique (simplified). Glued the first pages to the semirigid cover and les jeux sont faits.
I choose that design because I am Italian and I love pizza...but only the "real pizza" if you know what I mean…
There you have it, a tasty super simple, maybe cute, but sustainable handmade artist note.
Buon appetito

Resin and amber ring
Among other things, I am also experimenting with new materials these days. And I always loved jewelry. Here is one simple example that I did with the amber and some resin.
I love real amber. I bought it from the internet. Since I learned not to believe sellers especially online, I had to run some tests on some bits to ensure that they were real. And in order to do that I had to damage some bits of amber of course.
I am a person that doesn't like to “waste” because I believe in no such word waste, trash or similar, but only in resources. So I took my chances in making a ring for me with those bits.
Isn’t it a humble win win?

Baltic amber bracelet
That's it.
I bought this one because I also love big bits of amber.
This should be a Baltic Amber bracelet (also tested).
I broke up few bits so the bracelet became large for my wrist. Now in 2025 I upgraded it with a silicone based string so it will not wear off with time.
Bought it around 2015.

Oil based pigment and golden leaf pendant
It is still, a work in progress. But I love the idea of wearing Colors and gold. Wearing intense colors, paired in a pleasant way for my eyes. Colors are like wearing gems but in a different state. Not because of the value, nor the power, in which some folks like to think and show, but just for the Color. Gold is the same. I love Gold for the Color and because Gold, like most heavy metals, are forged inside the stars but not only…

Game Boy
Nintendo Game Boy from 1989.
I have cleaned and restored it on 2020.
Sometime is working sometime is working-less. I don't care.
I love it. Now I bought another one and I gave this to my little sister as a present.
It’s not the possession of material/spiritual “things” that enrich me, but it is the memories that sparks from within and with those, the rest of my senses.
